After my retirement, to spend time usefully, I started gardening on my terrace, in February 2022. Within a span of about 6 months it has considerable grown. Bangalore climate is also favorable for the nice growth.

Here are some photos of these, I am taking from time to time and regularly posting it in my FaceBook timeline and also sharing with my friend's WhasApp groups.

I am using my inexpensive under Rs.10,000 "Micromax - N8" phone camera,  since I always believe in using "made in India" products. 

Original variety of Hybiscus Rosa Sinensis in the foreground and Roses and Marigold in the background.

Nowadays too many Hybris varieties have come in the market but this is the Original variety of Hybiscus Rosa Sinensis

Original varieties of Roses are also becoming rare and here is an original variety of "Panneer Rose"

Original variety of "Panneer Rose" has a very good fragrance and the petals can be eaten or made in to Gulkand.

Next comes the Hybrid variety and it does not have any fragrance and the petals can not be eaten. 

The shape of the rose itself will be totally different.

These variety of Red roses also do not have fragrance and not edible

Hybrid variety of Yellow roses

Next is a rare variety called "Brahma Kamalam" and it blooms only at night.

 Next a collection of flowers for our daily Pooja including Tulsi leaves and Betal leaves (Kumbakonam Vettilai) 

 "HAVE A NICE DAY" till we meet with more colorful flowers

A lot of my friends have asked for tips on better gardening. Though I am not very good at it, I will try to share my experiences in my next postings.
